The shooting comes days after the family of a Georgia Tech student killed by campus police reached a $1 million settlement. Scout Schultz was shot and killed on Sept. Police said Schultz had a knife, but the family said Schultz was having a mental breakdown and was holding a multipurpose tool that wasn’t related to the shooting. The Schultz family’s attorney, Chris Stewart, said most of the officers backed off, but one fired at Schultz. “Most of the officers backed away continued to try to deescalate, and one of the officers did not and fired a fatal shot, which we didn’t think was justified,” Stewart said. GBI identified the officer as Tyler Beck.

STARMONEY BUSINESS 6 PLUSīooked to stay 2 nights at Trinity Wharf in 2 bedroom Harbour view $800 plus per night.Īccording to his record, Beck did not have crisis intervention training. Having stayed in expensive hotels worldwide we were expecting big things from this for our short getaway. Checkin was delayed as was advised the room wasn’t ready, despite ringing ahead for our arrival. Even after advertising under cover parking, front desk advised it was only for apartments (we were in an apartment).

Not worth the money, Tiny bath towels and had to ask for enough, hand towel in the master ensuite ripped. No minibar or drinks available in the room.
#Starmoney business 6 windows
Second bedroom has no Aircon or windows (master also no windows but A/C) so wouldn’t be suitable in the height of summer. No coffee machine in room, even motels have Nespresso’s now days. General feel is dated, tongs in the drawer were dirty and greasy from the previous guests. Second day came back and keys wouldn’t work, took 3 trips back down to resolve. Location is great but the room value was less than satisfactory, feel quite ripped off by the price TBH.Gold Star Money Market Account DisclosureĪre you opening an account online?
